Think of the demo hub as a temporary sandbox within which you can test BIM Track Premium features if you are a new user, or try out new workflows for your projects if you are already a Premium user.
It is very important to note that all demo hub data will reset every 30 days, so it should only be used as a temporary test space, and no real work data should be stored as the reset is permanent and all data is lost once the demo hub expires.
To create a demo hub, proceed as follows. If you prefer to create a permanent hub, see Create a Hub.
- Log in to BIM Track.
- On the hub library page, click Add new hub. If you are already in the application, in the top-right corner, you can click on your name and select Add new demo hub. You can also click Try it now in the Demo Hub banner.
- On the hub creation page, select Free demo hub.
- Enter a name for your demo hub and then click Create hub.
Your new hub will be automatically hosted on servers in Canada (regardless of your geographical location). For more information, see Data Locations. - Once your hub is created, you will be brought to the Projects page. You can start testing out BIM Track’s features on our demo project or you can create your own.
Each user can have no more than one demo hub. Once your demo hub expires, a new one can be easily set up.
