This article explains why you get an error message when creating an issue from a single part or assembly drawing via our Tekla add-in.
An error message appears.
In Tekla, you can create single-part drawings and assembly drawings. When these views are active, it is not possible for BIM Track to create an issue. On the other hand, the general arrangement drawings are compatible with BIM Track.
This is caused by the fact that our viewpoints require some coordinates in order to be processed and that while GADs have regular coordinates and are referenced to a main model, other drawings do not rely on coordinates (they can for example represent a part of the model which is repeated several times).
In order to create an issue, you have to first create one in our Viewer. Then you can add some images to the comments using the snipping tool. Any other method such as 'add viewpoint' or 'update from current' will result in the same error message.
