As a Newforma Konekt customer, what does this mean?
If you are a current Newforma Konekt customer, you now have the option of hosting your project data in Europe on new hubs* going forward.
The best way to do this is to create a second hub with a distinct name and then select Europe as the data location when creating the hub. Have the hub owner contact their account manager to activate a subscription.
Any new Newforma Konekt subscription is limited to one hub. This is why the account manager must set up an active subscription for a Hub in the Europe region for existing customers.
*Hubs means the Newforma Konekt site where your company or organization sets up its projects.
What is the location of the Europe data center?
The data center is located in France with backups in Norway.
Can I move my project data or users from a hub hosted in the US to the Europe data center?
As there is no way to automatically move project data between hubs hosted in either Canada, the US or Europe, we recommend that you finish ongoing projects and start new projects on a new hub hosted in Europe.
Can I store my project data in Europe even if I’m not based in Europe?
Yes. When creating a hub, choose Europe as the location of your project data. Create new projects, add users, and administer this account just like you would on the Canada or US regions.
Are all components of Newforma Konekt available on the Europe data center?
