Select Elements – NextGen Viewer (Beta)

The Next Gen Viewer is currently available in beta. We invite all users to provide feedback about the new experience via the Ideas portal.

You can use the Select tool to select one or multiple elements included in the IFC models displayed in Newforma Konekt’s NextGen Viewer before performing other operations such as applying a clipping box or creating an issue.

When you move the cursor onto an element in the viewing area, the element is highlighted. You can click a highlighted element to select it both in the viewing area and the model tree.

You can also double-click an element to view its properties (see View Element Properties).

If you have difficulty highlighting a particular element because other elements are in close proximity, hide them by clicking the eye icon when hovering over them in the model tree. You can also use the clipping tools for unobstructed viewing before creating an issue.
